IRRESPECTIVE OF COMPANY, INDUSTRY OR COUNTRY –
MORE AND MORE EMPLOYEES ARE DISENGAGED.
In 2018, the number reached 87% according to Gallup’s Global Employee Engagement Survey. And yet, at the same time, studies repeatedly show that upwards of 80% of adults, when asked if they would want to continue to work if they were to become financially independent, answer ‘yes’.
Which means that organisations and leaders increasingly have to
ask themselves some fundamental questions.

Having worked in business, civil society and the public sector, in boardrooms and grass roots communities, in South Africa and around the world, I have seen that people – irrespective of industry, country or seniority – actually just want the same things:
To do work that matters and is meaningful to them, to be ”seen” as not just as a pair of hands that delivers outputs but as a whole human being and to belong.
In other words, to feel that they are part of a group that has their backs and their best interests at heart.
I AM A STRATEGY, LEADERSHIP AND CULTURE FACILITATOR WHO WORKS WITH LEADERS AND TEAMS TO ACHIEVE THESE THINGS ON MULTIPLE LEVELS
THE IMPERSONAL
Defining and getting clear on what must be achieved from a strategic perspective for business success
THE INTERPERSONAL
Building real team understanding and effectiveness
THE PERSONAL
People have a understanding of, and commitment to, what matters to them in their job and their life
